Right place, Right time to catch my eldest engaging with his great grandfather. Australia’s last surviving member of the illustrious Light Horse Brigade who served on many battlefronts across WWI. Hugh St Clair, my mother’s maternal grandfather and a damn nice bloke. I interviewed him once for a school history project and it was a mess. This nice old man burst into tears recounting his experiences of the war. Lest we forget.
