Show Excess Brightness and Saturation in FCPX

You can use the Range Check overlay in the viewer to quickly highlight colour values in your project that exceed the acceptable limits of colour space standards. The overlay indicates the problem areas with a pattern in the viewer. Basically you’re seeing what’s clipped and oversaturated.
